Isabelle Hudon’s mandate renewed as CEO of BDC through 2030

The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) announced the renewal of Isabelle Hudon as CEO until 2030. Under her leadership since 2021, BDC has grown its client base by nearly 50% to over 100,000 clients, launched major initiatives including the Defence Sector Platform and multiple venture funds, and maintained consistent profitability while improving operational efficiency. BDC has also expanded its role in supporting Canadian businesses facing tariff pressures through various government-backed financing programs.
